Some Tips for You!

Wash all fabrics by hand with cold water and mild detergents, avoiding the use of bleach and not soaking them. Lay the garments flat to dry in the shade, avoiding the dryer. Always wash garments inside out to protect the color and fabric, and hang them inside out when drying outdoors to prevent sun fading. Prefer natural fiber garments due to their ecological manufacturing process, and use laundry bags for synthetic garments to trap microfibers and prevent environmental contamination. Store dry and folded garments in a cotton bag to protect them from moths. Following these care tips will keep your fabrics in excellent condition for a longer time.
¡Remember! One of the ways to save money is to avoid using the dryer, since it is more efficient and environmentally friendly to hang clothes, besides providing more extra benefits.

What They Don't Tell You About Detergents

Washing clothes less frequently can make a difference in environmental conservation. Each wash with detergents releases around nine million microplastic particles into the oceans, as they cannot be filtered out in wastewater treatment plants. Additionally, washing clothes less frequently saves a significant amount of water. It is estimated that between 45 and 110 liters of water can be saved per wash load, which is equivalent to over 14,000 liters per year, approximately the amount of water we drink over a 12-year period.

In addition to the environmental impact, washing clothes too often can also damage fabrics and reduce their lifespan. Frequent washes can cause delicate garments to wear out more quickly. Therefore, washing clothes more consciously and only when necessary can help preserve the quality and durability of our garments.
