ROGER

Lima, Perú
District: Puente Piedra
Provincia: Lima
Region: Lima

The Puente Piedra district of Peru is filled with history: here there lies a natural rock bridge that allowed the imperial Incan army to expand the “Tahuantinsuyo,” or the far-reaching realm of the Incan civilization.
Roger is originally from the Canchis district in Cusco, and 15 years ago he moved to the Puente Piedra district of Peru’s capital in search of a better future. Learning to embroider as a small child, he inherited in the art of “Maquinask’a” embroidery from his parents and, despite having moved, he continues to devote himself to his heritage and his embroidery.
